Hi friends,

First, a mea culpa. I guess I wasn’t paying attention to my Substack settings and neglected to push a button that would prevent spammy emails about discounts for memberships, etc. If you got one of those emails, I apologize. Perhaps Substack is not the ad and algorithm-free haven we all once dreamed about. I will play closer attention to those settings in the future.

Moving on . . .

Earl and Worm is out! My new early-reader series just launched this past week and I am thrilled to be able to finally share it with kids and people that read with kids.

I have a whole bunch of readings and events coming up, including a storytime in Philly TOMORROW MORNING which I probably should have emailed about sooner.
